well it didn't work but now its another Error Message: Error - Sound System failed to set primary buffer format...

Efficiency was developed in XP (because I don't have Vista) and as such may have a few Vista issues. I've fixed those that I know I can, but without a Vista platform to test and debug on there's still always going to be a possibility that it'll not work on your system.
I'm really sorry if this is the case. Just as soon as Vista doesn't suck quite so badly I'll invest in a copy of it and you can then be sure that my games will work on it.
I've uploaded a version with some buffer issues fixed so you might consider re-downloading it and having another go. You should also ensure that you've got the latest DirectX installed
